Libby is a service-minded actor, singer, and voice over artist from Madison, WI. She is joyfully spending the 2024 season as a resident actor at Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia.
Libby holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University with training at the British American Drama Academy. Since graduating, she has been based out of Barter Theatre where she’s been grateful to work on everything from Dorothy Gale to Trinculo.
A Shakespeare enthusiast since the age of eight, Libby has spent time performing with Illinois Shakespeare Festival and Texas Shakespeare Festival, studying the Bard’s work in London, and creating boozy Shakespeare events wherever she may roam.
Away from the stage you can find Libby reading, baking, hiking, taking pictures of her cats (Han and Chewie), searching for the nearest Culver’s, and eating with her big, passionate Greek family.
Libby considers herself a lifelong learner and strives to put a little more empathy into the world everyday.
